Federica Cirri Montani, better known as Chicca, was born and raised in Florence. After completing her studies in Music and Foreign Languages she spent time between London and Barcelona while obtaining her Degree in Interior Design (laurea cum laude). During those years she also created her own swim wear label.

She then lived in NYC, Madrid and Milan pursuing experiences in Design, Fashion and Communication.

Her interest for Art developed strongly after a Master's Degree in the field focused on Events Management which allowed her to gain the knowledge necessary to direct Aria Art Gallery in Florence for 5 years. Chicca quickly turned the space into one of the city's most interesting spots bringing important and emergent contemporary artists to town. For Aria she organized and curated shows throughout Italy and the UK, took care of relations with local and international artist and represented the gallery at the world's most important art fairs. 

During these years she also has been one of Florence’s leaders in Events and PR working with a wide range of prestigious clients and partnerships (see below); interesting was also the collaboration with Luisa Via Roma selling a series of art prints curated by her.

Chicca’s vulcanic essence led her for several years to turn from a classical trained pianist into DJ for the best parties, underground clubs, glamorous cocktails and charity galas. To be discovered the recent series of paintings designed for her beloved friends and family during Covid; after winning a competition in Rome her works are now available on Saatchi Art Online, or here by the “Chicca- Studio” section. She is also a volunteer at the Red Cross. 

Today Federica is living between Florence and the Umbrian countryside where she is in charge for the Events at Villa della Genga property, while always keeping a beloved eye on her hometown.
